1. Who This Is

Tiskam is operated by an individual ("we," "our," or "us"), not a registered company. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use this website -- the contact form, the chat widget, or the newsletter signup.

2. Data We Actually Collect

• Contact form: the name, email address, category, and message you submit.
• Chat widget: whatever you type into the chat, plus any name/email/project details you volunteer if the chat hands off to a lead capture step.
• Newsletter signup: just the email address you enter.
• Server logs: standard technical data our hosting provider (Vercel) records for every request, such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, for security and debugging.

We don't use tracking pixels or ad networks. We do use Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic counts (which pages get visited, roughly how many people) -- it's cookieless and doesn't identify you individually. See our Cookie Policy for exactly what's stored in your browser.

3. How We Use It

Solely to respond to your inquiry, follow up on a project you've asked about, or send the newsletter you signed up for. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.

4. Who Else Sees It

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the site:

• Resend -- delivers contact form and chat lead submissions to our inbox as email, and stores newsletter signup emails in a Resend-managed contact list so we can actually send you a newsletter.
• Anthropic (Claude API) -- if you type a free-text question into the chat widget outside its guided options, that message is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a reply. Anthropic processes it under their own API terms.
• Vercel -- hosts the site and its server functions, and provides the cookieless analytics mentioned above.

We don't run our own database. Contact form and chat lead data is emailed to us and otherwise only exists transiently in Vercel's function logs. Newsletter signups are the exception: your email is kept in a Resend-managed contact list for as long as you're subscribed, since that's what makes it possible to actually send you a newsletter.

5. How Long We Keep It

Emailed submissions live in our inbox until we delete them. Vercel function logs are retained according to Vercel's own log retention period, not something we control directly. Newsletter contacts stay on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for the newsletter at any time -- just email us. See our GDPR page for the full list of rights.
