These terms cover two separate things: using this website, and engaging us for an actual project. They're not a substitute for the written scope and quote every real engagement gets before work starts.

2. Using This Website

The content here -- service descriptions, the R&D/Experimental projects shown on the Projects page, the ROI calculator, the chat widget -- is provided for informational purposes. Illustrative figures (like the ROI calculator's output) are estimates, not guarantees. Don't rely on anything here as a substitute for your own judgment or professional advice specific to your situation.

The chat widget's free-text fallback is powered by an AI model (see our Privacy Policy for which one). It can be wrong or incomplete. Treat anything it tells you about pricing, timelines, or capabilities as a starting point for a conversation, not a commitment -- the same way you would a first draft.

3. If You Hire Us

Every real engagement gets its own scope, quote, and timeline, agreed with you directly before work starts -- see the pricing note on the Services page. Where that agreement is silent, these defaults apply:

• Ownership: once a deliverable is paid for in full, it's yours. We keep the right to reuse general methods, tools, and any code or components that existed before your project (not your specific implementation or content).
• Portfolio use: we may show completed work -- including screenshots or a case study -- on this site and elsewhere as a portfolio piece, unless you ask us not to.
• Payment and scope changes: handled per the terms in your specific agreement, not by anything on this page.

4. No Warranty, Limited Liability

This website and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for damages arising from your use of this site. This doesn't apply to the separate written agreement for an actual project, which governs that work on its own terms.

5. Governing Law

These terms don't name a specific governing jurisdiction. If a dispute ever comes up, we'd rather work it out directly -- contact us using the details below before anything else.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as the site and how we work evolve. The date at the top reflects the last update.
